Clan Name: Shikyo
Clan Background: Eighteen years prior to current events, Ukage, a brilliant scientist, began to research into the possibility of creating bloodlines. Due to the general lack of history, Ukage studied medical knowledge until he was renown as the very best civilian doctor there was. Afterwards, he offered several clans cures to supposed toxins in the air. Unbeknownst to the clans, Ukage was the one who had inserted the toxins into the water supply. Naturally, Ukage was hailed for his miracle cure. From there on, Ukage was generally able to visit clan histories, learning how they were made. Of the many clans that struck his interest, Senju and Uchiha stuck out far beyond the others. Unlike the others, Senju and Uchiha were two parts of the same family. From what Ukage learned, every other clan started out from adapting their bodies to use jutsu, and thereby chakra, better. When it came down to it, Senju and Uchiha were BORN to be great, there was no doubt. Though he was not permitted full access, Ukage was able to learn many things from context clues.

When Ukage began to finish his research, he began to sneak portions of DNA off of drunk members of the two clans. Mostly, it was civilians and low tiered ninja, but it worked. He began his tests on how to infuse people with bloodlines, which was far more theoretical than factual. The first eighty three experiments that Ukage held died shortly after. For many years, Ukage was stumped. Then he kidnapped two Uzumaki boys, wandering in the woods. Though his earlier experiments had been voluntary, his later experiments were always kidnapped people or bought slaves. It did not matter to him. So deluded in his quest, Ukage was, that he did not even care how many times he failed, he would keep trying. Once he experimented on the two Uzumaki boys, he finally got results. As the two boys showed positive, but unexpected, results, Ukage celebrated.

While he had not recreated the rinnegan, he had successfully created a bloodline, and given it to two boys. As he questioned the two boys, he began to realize that the reason these two had survived was due to their insane life force and chakra, due to their original clan, the Uzumaki. Although this interrupted his progress a bit, he was further excited when he decided to take their DNA and use it to spread the new bloodline he had created. Over time his goals had changed, from wanting to recreate the rinnegan, to creating a new bloodline, and finally, to creating a clan which he ruled over. Such is the delusion that his mind suffered from.

As time passed, Ukage never managed to break the two boys, no matter what he tried. Fortunately they had a weakness for each other. During his first few captures, Ukage threatened Kaigen's life, if Kuro did not capture someone. Naturally, he did. As time passed, Ukage managed to break one of the captures completely, and that began his infusing of the bloodline. As it turned out, the bloodline he had made could be manifested in separate ways, elemental manipulation, and an element enhancement, allowing the user to use Magnetism. Oddly, to everyone who exhibited any of the bloodlines, the user ALWAYS had elemental manipulation. From what Ukage noted, the most likely reason is because in the infusion process, Uzumaki DNA was always added first, while Senju and Uchiha were used later. The reason is due to the Uzumaki life force, along with the volatile nature of the two bloodlines. Due to this, while not everyone subjected to his experiments seemed to gain a bloodline, those that did always gained elemental manipulation.

For several years, Ukage trained those he managed to break into warriors. He did this mostly by learning what ninja learn that didnt involve bloodlines. Even then, most of what he learned was useless. For the most part, he had them fight each other to get stronger. As always, the two strongest in both the bloodline usage and natural power were those two Uzumaki boys he had originally kidnapped. Neither had broken, but he did not care. They were being used to train others in usage of the bloodline.

Unfortunately, this would be Ukage's undoing. As Kuro and Kaigen began to train the others in the bloodline, they began to become more loyal to the brothers than Ukage. As this happened, Ukage began to get nervous, and took Kaigen away. This only succeeded in infuriating Kuro, which, being the sheep that they were, infuriated most of the others. When Kuro stormed through the halls to find his brother, injured as he was, Kuro snapped, and no one even attempted to protect Ukage from his wrath.

For all his planning, Ukage had three major faults that led to his death. For one, he did not have but the slightest understanding of psychology, believing the experiments to be broken when in fact they had simply become subservient. Further, his paranoia caused him a great deal of grief, trusting no one but those he had believed to be broken. Lastly, as he had instilled Kuro and Kaigen as teachers to the would-be clan, he inserted two new leaders for the group to look up to. This caused him to be far less threatening than them, in the group's eyes.

Once they were free from Ukage, Kuro took on the role of leader. For the most part, each of them had been kept in the facility for a long time. None of them, save the few newbies, knew much about how the world had changed. Because they had been together so long, they had come to see themselves as a family. Because of this, only a few went back to their clans, and most simply came back because it was nothing like home. With Kuro, the clan began to learn of how others worked, and Kuro presented the idea to become a clan. During the discussion, the name "Shikyo" popped up, and it became the clan name.

Three years after this, the Shikyo clan have amassed a reputation for doing the average missions with no big problems. Although the Shikyo clan had incredible power, they were mostly used to protect themselves and gather resources to survive. No one was quite sure how Ukage had supported such a large group of people alone.
Clan Description: Due to the immense differences between how most of the clan was raised, there is no true culture. That being said, there are three key things that binds them. The first is the belief of family. Do not be confused. Though the clan is connected through blood, they do not count having their blood as being family. Family, to them, is anyone considered a dear enough friend to be trusted with the secrets the clan holds. The second is that they do not care about the past. Having been captured and forcefully experimented on, you can imagine why the past does not concern them. That is not to say they do not research the past, it is simply inconsequential when dealing with individuals, to them. The final one is that the Shikyo are neutral towards disputes that do not involve them, even if two friends are fighting. They will often attempt to calm the two allies down and get them to at least tolerate each other, but other than that, their general belief is that it is not their fight. On the other hand, if an ally asks for help, it is likely the Shikyo will involve themselves.
Clan Characteristics: For the most part, everyone in the clan has bleach white hair, due to the infusion of Senju and Uchiha. Most are also pale, due to the fact that they were in a facility for years. Due to the sheer difference among all of them when it concerns origins, the Shikyo clan is diverse in skin color, body size, and body shape. However, one key feature is, like Uzumaki, the Shikyo have very youthful appearances, aside from the white hair.
Village/Territory: Near the ruins of Kumogakure, inside a mountain.
Clan Leader: Kurokon Shikyo
Kekkei Genkai Description: There are two bloodlines that manifest in the clan, members will have either only Elemental Manipulation, or Elemental Manipulation and Magnetism. Those with Magnetism are 'born', so to speak, with it.

Elemental Manipulation


The base ability of the clan, if you have the bloodline, you automatically have this. Whether or not you have Jikukangan or Magnetism is up to you. To explain the main portion simply, this gives the user the ability to manipulate their elements on a base level. The following is made to explain what each element does at each level. To go up a level, you must either pay 100 exp, or train 500 words, for the first level, with the cost added 100 exp, or 500 words per level, except the last level which goes up by double the normal amount. Each "manipulation" costs 25 chakra (10 per post to maintain manipulations, for water)

Level 1 - 100 exp, or 500 words
Level 2 - 200 exp, or 1k words, plus first level unlocked.
Level 3 - 300 exp, or 1.5k words, plus second level unlocked.
Final Level - 500 exp, or 2.5k words, plus third level unlocked.

Fire


The Fire Taijutsu style that the Shikyo clan uses to manipulate fire is mostly using the center of the body as a balancing style. Kicks and punches and common in this style, with somewhat firm positioning and direct attacks. Most of the basic attacks of this particular style are set to send both taijutsu attacks and directly push fire towards someone with the Elemental Manipulation. For the most part, flames are not controlled as much as water, but are easily controlled more than Earth, wind, or lightning. On the other hand, they are not as solid, powerful, or fast as the other elements. The "power" of fire is how hot it is. Fire constructs can ONLY be in the form of normal fire, waves, or spheres of fire.

Each level of fire adds 25 heat to the last, starting at 25. So first level is 25, second is 50, third is 100, and final is 150. The speed of the fire goes from 50 at level 1, to 75 at 2, to 100 at 3, to 125 at the final level.


First level: The user moves entire limbs to begin creating small flames, allowing them to create fire, but on a very small scale, about as much fire to cover a limb per post. Naturally, this fire is weak, but the power itself could be used to enhance or counter certain other attacks.
Second level: For the secondary level, the user is capable of creating and directing enough fire to cover their entire body in fire. Naturally, they do not actually cover themselves in fire, they simply are able to create enough to do so, for comparison. The fire at this stage is decently powerful, but not enough to compare to most fire jutsu worth the time to train. Each kick, punch, or even body shove affects the entire direction of the fire, allowing users to shoot out flames with intense power.
Third level: The user has trained extensively and is now able to create fire at will, on their own skin. Naturally, this power can be directed just like the other levels. Further, the user can now actually breathe blasts of fire rather than just kicking and punching. The amount of fire these users can create is enough to cover five times their own body's surface area.
Final level: The very last level of the Elemental Manipulation is mainly a power boost, giving the user the ability to summon well over ten times the amount of fire as they would need to cover their bodies. At this point, the user is capable of creating complex structures with their fire, and continue controlling the structures even after creation.

Lightning


Lightning manipulation style is far different than the others, most similar to wind or water, though. The basic movements are circular and rotational. The user builds the electricity up during the motion, though later the circular motions become unnecessary, and launches the electrical current in the form of lightning towards their target. Naturally, this style is perfect for swordsmen and generally any type of weapon similar to a sword, including a staff. Though they lack most forms of control the other elements have, lightning has the fastest speed out of all the elements, similar to its natural element. The "power" of lightning is how strong the electricity is. Lightning can ONLY be used in the form of blasts/beams.

Each level of lightning adds 50 electricity to the last, starting at 50. So first level is 50, second is 100, third is 150, and final is 200. The speed of the lightning goes from 75 at level 1, to 150 at 2, to 225 at 3, to 300 at the final level.


First level: The very first level allows the user to generate electricity by simply moving circularly. Turning the body and limbs in circular patterns will help gain electricity, though that electricity is weak and generally useless in most areas.
Second level: The real fun comes into play when the user hits this level of control. The user is able to create moderate amounts of electricity, along with directing it with ease. Unlike most other elements, lightning is not controlled once it is released, not even slightly.
Third level: This level allows for flicks of the wrist and light kicks to summon a blast of lightning. Moves that require very minor actual movement are now able to send out blasts of lightning.
Final level: The very last level, this allows the user to send out lightning at tremendous speeds. While most elemental abilities of the shikyo involve shape manipulation at this level, Lightning involves simple speed.

Wind

Wind Elemental Manipulation, requiring swift, flowing movements, is similar to lightning, water, and fire. Mostly water, though it would seem to be a combination of the circular movements of lightning with the flowing push and pull with water. Unlike water though, there is no pull, only push. Further, Wind can be manipulated into sharp blades, as sharp as their power is. While not as manipulable as water and earth, Wind can actually cause physical damage via cuts, unlike fire and lightning which only do their elemental damage in power. The "power" of wind is how sharp/strong the blades/pushes are. Wind can ONLY be used to make dull pushes/pulls, or sharp cuts.

Each level of wind adds 100 cutting power to the last, starting at 100. So first level is 100, second is 200, third is 300, and final is 400. The speed of the wind goes from 50 at level 1, to 100 at 2, to 150 at 3, to 200 at the final level.

First level: As with all first levels of the elemental Manipulation, this stage is useful only to manipulate the wind slightly, creating a light breeze, with little control without a jutsu, other than that.
Second level: At the second level, you begin to develop some manner of control, though only very close ranged direction, sending out blasts of air by moving the body in manners similar to as if using the hands as fans. These are overt and obvious actions, making it impossible to really use stealthily.
Third level: The final level before total mastery, this is the level where the user can begin to use wind on a far more massive scale, and use far less overt movements to summon and direct the wind. This means simple movements such as waving the arm, or kicking lightly.
Final level: The very last level of the Elemental Manipulation is mainly a power boost, doubling the power of the element. Naturally, the user can summon massive amounts of wind, and direct it easily.

Water


Water, the most manipulable yet underrated elemental style of the clan, is a style that focuses on balance, both physical and mental. Naturally water takes a great deal more control to manipulate than any other element, so the key to water is control and balance. The sheer versatility of this section of the clan allows for nearly anything imaginable to be created, including whips, tentacles, waves, and shields. The lack of power that water holds is balanced by its manipulability. The "power" of water is its strength, which means a water-whip would have this strength, while a binding water manipulation would have the same strength. Water constructs can be in the form of anything, provided there is enough water/power. Unlike earth, Water can change its form after creation.

Water has strength, which is what keeps the water-constructs together. Each level of water adds 100 strength to the last, starting at 100. So first level is 50, second is 100, third is 150, and final is 200 . The speed of the water goes from 25 at level 1, to 50 at 2, to 75 at 3, to 100 at the final level.

Third level: The final level before total mastery, this is the level where the user can begin to use water on a far more massive scale, and use far less overt movements to summon and direct the water. This means simple movements such as waving the arm, or kicking lightly.
Final level: The very last level of the Elemental Manipulation is mainly a power boost, doubling the power of the element. Naturally, the user can summon massive amounts of water, and direct it easily.

Earth


Earth, the most direct element, is a style based on stomps, kicks, and punches. None of that style shit either, with Earth you either stand tall or fall down. The key with earth is to be stubborn as hell, to move the earth with your sheer will. Basically, the style is used by stomping to bring up earth, and then kicking/punching/sneezing whatever the creation you made from the earth at the enemy, though some users are so masterful at this they are able to create useful weapons, rather than blocks of earth. The "power" of earth is its density. Earth, similar to water, can be manipulated into any imaginable shape that the user has enough power and resources for.

Each level of earth adds 25 density to the last, starting at 25. So first level is 25, second is 50, third is 75, and final is 100. The speed of the earth goes from 25 at level 1, to 50 at 2, to 100 at 3, to 125 at the final level.

Third level: The final level before total mastery, this is the level where the user can begin to use water on a far more massive scale, and use far less overt movements to summon and direct the earth. This means simple movements such as punching or kicking the uprooted earth lightly.
Final level: The very last level of the Elemental Manipulation is mainly a power boost, doubling the power of the element. Naturally, the user can summon massive amounts of earth, and direct it easily.




Magnetism

Certain Shikyo have the sub-element of Magnetism, allowing them to manipulate magnetic metals and waves to a high degree. Naturally, all abilities of this have to be made into jutsu, as there are no passive bonuses to having Magnetism as an element. Naturally, the style of magnetism differs per person, some require touching the item first, while others electrify it so they may use electromagnetism. One thing is know though. Either earth, OR lightning is required for magnetism. Users of magnetism do not require both, only one or the other.



Kekkei Genkai Techniques: None, each member makes their own because the creator is a lazy shit.
